North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety
and Health Act of North Carolina:  The employer did not furnish to
each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of
employment which were free from recognized hazards that were
causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees:
a)facility; throughout such as shop - Scissor type below
the hook lifting device has not been load tested.
REFERENCE:  ANSI B30.20 - 1985;  Below the hook lifting
devices (Paragraph 20-1.4.2 - Rated load test)  Prior to
initial use, all new, altered, modified, or repaired lifting
devices should be tested...
NOTE:  One acceptable and feasible methods of abatement is
to have the below the hook devices load tested.

NOTE:  One acceptable and feasible methods of abatement is
to have the below the hook devices inspected on a
frequent and
annual basis.

b)facility; North Molding - underhung crane system with 3
ton Shaw Box hoist has not been load tested.
REFERENCE:  ANSI B30.11 - 1998 paragraph 11-2.2.2 Load test -
New, reinstalled, altered, repaired, and modified equipment
should be load tested prior to initial use...
NOTE: One feasible and acceptable method of abatement is
to have all the crane systems load tested.

REFERENCE:  ANSI B30.11 - 1998 paragraph 11-2.1.1 Inspection -
Prior to initial use, all new, reinstalled, altered, or
modified crane and monorail systems shall be inspected...(b)
on a frequent and periodic basis.
NOTE: One feasible and acceptable method of abatement is
to have all the crane systems inspected on a
frequent and periodic basis.
