Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Employees working from a JLG, #R1794 extensible boom aerial lift were exposed to injuries from falls due to the lack of fall protection as required by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI A92.5-1992) Standard for Boom Supported Elevated Work Platforms.
