Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: the employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: Employees working from the JSKB-40-D extensible boom aerial lift were exposed to injuries from falls due to the lack of adequate fall protection, in that they had the body harness but they were not hooked up to the bucket, as required by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI A92.5-1992) Standard for Boom Supported Elevated Work Platforms. STAN'S PAINTING AND DECORATING INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH 5(a)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 121917736, CITATION NUMBER(1), ITEM NUMBER (1), ISSUED ON 7/25/2000.
