Section 5(A)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death of serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) On the front end loader, the employer failed to install or assure that a seat belt was installed on the front end loader. The front end loader seat was recently replaced by the employer and the new seat was not equipped with a seat belt. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to install a seat belt in the front end loader. CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED
