North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a)facility; warping - 2 Underhung crane systems with budgit 1 ton hoists has not been load tested. b)facility; dye house - 2 Underhung crane systems with CM Loadstar 1 ton hoists has not been load tested. c)facility; dye house - 4 monorail crane systems with CM Loadstar 1 ton hoists has not been load tested. REFERENCE: ANSI/ASME B30.11-1998 paragraph 11-2.2.2 Load test (a) New, reinstalled, altered, repaired, and modified equipment should be load tested prior to initial use as determined by a qualified person... NOTE: One acceptable and feasible methods of abatment is to have the underhung cranes systems and monorail systems load tested.
