did not furnish employment and a place of
employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or
likely
to cause death or serious physical
harm to employees in that employees were operating a AFM Fab Tech
hydraulic press brake, which is located in the
brake and shear room, which exposed them to:
(a)  Amputations by not having the point of operation guarded so that
employees are not exposed while cutting
material.  Materials range from 6' in width to 4" to 5" in width.  Among
other methods, one feasible and acceptable
abatement method to correct this hazard is to install a point of operation
guard such as that called for by ANSI B11.3-1982, American National
Standard Safety Code for Power Press Brakes.
