Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a), Annotated Code of Maryland: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (a)Date of Violation:02/25/00 Location:Throughout the Warehouse Condition:Metal storage racks, 8' to 9' long, 29" to 42" wide, 16' high, in 100' long sections, were damaged at their base compromising their ability to safely support, without failure, the products stored on the racks. Among others, one feasible means tocorrect this hazard is to replace the damaged upright members of the storage racks with new uprights.
