employer did not
furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to the hazard of hypothermia:
a- Seafood Department - The walk-in refrigerator door mechanism did not
permit opening
from the inside.  The door will shut by itself when released and can trap
an employee
inside without a means of egress.
One feasible and acceptable means to correct this hazard is to install a
properly
functioning latch mechanism which would provide door opening from both
sides.
Condition observed on or about 3/30/00.
