below-the-hook lifting devices, such as welded, fabricated lifting
eyes and fabricated tank-handling devices were not tested, had no
rated load capacity marking, and had not been inspected in
accordance with inspection intervals by a designated person,
exposing employees to a struck-by hazard.
Certification, and documentation/evidence of abatement is required.
Certification of abatement is required by 29 CFR Part 1903 and is to be
submitted within ten (10)
calendar days after the abatement date.ment
