Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to falls: a) Archer Steel Construction Company, Inc. (Rancocas Bridge Construction) - Employees working on the bridge and barge decks fell into the Rancocas Creek as the bridge structure and barge, overloaded with aerial lifts in excess of 37,120 pounds, listed until it impacted the concrete pier cap and the boom and operators cab of a crane on the bridge span adjacent to the barge. On or about April 5, 2001.
