Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) 30 Indel Ave., Rancocas, NJ 08073 - Where point of operation guarding was not feasible, the employer did not develop and implement a safe distance program for the protection of press brake operators. On or about 08/06/02. One feasible and acceptable abatement method is to develop and implement a safe distance program that conforms to the requirements of ANSI B11.3-1982 and OSHA Directive CPL 2- 1.25. NOTE:ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM. See page 2,"Notification of Corrective Action" for instructions.
