shop are exposed to struck by/caught between hazards resulting from the
over head hoist not
having periodic and regular inspections. One feasible and acceptable
abatement method includes
but is not limited to complete inspections being performed at one to
twelve month intervals as
specified in Section 16-2.2.1.3 of the American National Standards
Institute/American Society
of Mechanical Engineers (ANSI/ASME) Standards B30.16-1973, Overhead Hoists
or as
specified by the manufacturer.
