Labor and Employment Article; Section 5-104(a) Annotated Code of Maryland: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:07/06/00 Location:Front of House Condition:The truck mounted conveyor which was intended to be used to transport material, was used by an employee to access a roof, 25' above ground level. "Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to prohibit the use of the conveyor as a means of access, and to provide a safe means of access such as a ladder." Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
