Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Receive injuries due to the minimum vertical clearence of 18 inches between electrical lights or lamps of 8 feet large (60 watts) and Xerox boxes and other storage material of cardboard, was not maintain. Among other methods to corrects this hazard, one feasible and acceptable is to clean and maintain the vertical clearence space in the area. a. Recibir lesiones debido a que no se mantuvo el espacio libre vertical minimo de 18 pulgadas entre las bombillas o lamparas de 8 pies de largo( 60 vatios) y las cajas de carton, Xerox, y otras cajas almacenadas de carton. De entre otros metodos correctivos, uno aceptable y posible para corregir este riesgo es limpiar el area y mantener el espacio vertical recomendado.
