Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a. Receive serious injuries due to contact with energized power lines, 4000 volts; at two story building, 16 feet height when roof construction operations were performed. At the time of inspection, employees perform roof formworks operations 8.5 distance height from energized power lines. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to deenergize the lines, relocated the lines, or installed protective coverings on lines by notification to electrical system operator. a. Recibir lesiones serias debido a contacto con lineas energizadas, 4000 volts; en edificio de dos pisos, 16 pies de alto cuando operaciones de construccion de techo eran realizadas. Al momento de la inspeccion, empleados realizaban operaciones de construccion de moldes de techo a 8.5 pies de distancia de lineas energizadas. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible para corregir este riesgo es desenergizar las lineas, reubicar las lineas o instalar cubiertas protectoras mediante notificacion a operador del sistema electrico.on
