Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a. Receive injuries due to tripping, or impacting metal objects in a total
darkness.
Employees need to cross a hall or lay away room, 15 feet large x 8 feet
wide and
another big room half-light , 120 feet long, when they open and close the
store. Among
other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct
this
hazard is
to connect and electric interruptor in the entrance of the store.

total obscuridad. empleados tienen que cruzar por un pasillo o cuarto de
Lay Away, de
15 pies de largo x 8 pies de ancho, y otro salon grande semi-obscuro, de
120 pies de
largo, cada vez que tienen que abrir y cerrar la tienda.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible para corregir este
riesgo es instalar
un interruptor de corriente en la entrada de la tienda.
