Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a.  Receive injuries due to access to pathway in accidental condition,
slipper earth, bush,
slope way, broken stairs.  Two three times a week one employee need to use
this
pathway to go down and climb to the AAA filter plant in Bo. Pulguillas in
Coamo (30-40
feet aprox) and in AAA Filter Plant in Sector La Vega in Orocovis (40-50
feet
aprox).
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazard is the construction of stairs or ladders in the pathway.
a.  Recibir heridas debido al uso de un camino accidentado; tierra
resbaladiza, matojos,
camino con pendientes, escaleras rotas. Dos a tres veces en semana un
empleado tiene
que usar este camino para bajar y subir hasta la planta de filtros del Bo.
Pulguillas de
Coamo ( 30-40 pies aprox.)  y en la Planta de Filtro del Sector La Vega de
Orocovis
(40-50 pies aprox. ). Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable y posible
para corregir
este riesgo es construir una escalera en este camino de acceso.

a. Receive injuries complication in case of an accident when one employee
used an
accidental pathway, slippery earth, slope way in a solitary and remote
place near the
Dam of A.A.A. in Bo. Pulguilla de Coamo and in Sector la Vega in Orocovis.
The
employee do not have a funtional communication system to ask for help in
case of an
accident. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement
method to correct
this hazard is to provide a radio or similar communication system to the
employee.
a. Recibir complicaciones en heridas en caso de accidente cuando un
empleado usaba un
acceso accidentado, tierra resbaladiza, camino de pendientes en un lugar
remoto y
solitario cercano a la Represa de la A.A.A. del Bo. Pulguilla de Coamo y
en el Sector
la Vega en Orocovis. Empleado no tiene un sistema funcional de
comunicacion para
pedir ayuda en caso de accidente. Entre otros metodos, un metodo aceptable
y posible
para corregir este riesgo es proveerle un radio o sistema similar de
comunicacion al
empleado.
