Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to injuries while operating a vehicle mounted aerial lift which was not being properly maintained and regularly inspected: a) 8051 E. Maplewood Ave. Greenwood Village, CO: On or about December 28, 2000 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to serious injuries while operating a Van Ladder aerial lift which had not been regularly inspected and properly maintained. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazardous condition would be to follow the manufactures and or the ANSI guidelines. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item.
