North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a)facility; thorughout such as machine shop - monorail systems have not been load tested. REFERENCE: ANSI B30.11 - 1998; 11-2.2.2 Load test (a) New, reinstalled, altered, repaired and modified equipment should be load tested prior to initial use... NOTE: An acceptable and feasible means of abatement is to have the monorail systems load tested.
