NCGS 95-129(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) facility -- the receptacle in the mens restroom in the grocery shipping department was not ground fault circuit interruper protected. Ref. 1999 NEC 210-8b: All 125-volt, single-phase, 15- and 20- ampere receptacles installed in bathrooms shall have ground-fault circuit-interrupter protection for personnel. One feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to install a ground fault circuit interrupter for this receptacle.
