Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to falls: A. West side of St. Joseph Hospital. Employee was lifted and rode in the bucket of a front end loader while using a hedge trimmer. Among feasible abatement methods is to comply was to follow the Kubota Safety Rules and not lift anyone in the bucket. An Aerial lift would be an alternative device to use.
