North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety
and Health Act of North Carolina:  The employer did not furnish
each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of
employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely
to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that
employees were exposed to unsafe conditions in the operation of
Refuse Trucks Ref: American National Standard Institute (ANSI)
Z245.1.1992 section 6.2.4(a)!:
a)Onslow County collection route - employee riding on side
rear riding step of Refuse Collection Truck, while
traveling in reverse.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable
abatement method to correct this hazard is to enforce
current company safety rules, and monitor employees in
the safe operation of Refuse Trucks.

THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT
