Minn. Stat. 182.653 subd. 2: The employer did not furnish to each employee, conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards which caused or were likely to cause death or serious injury to employees; and Employees were exposed to being struck by traffic while performing work on sign #72-35 located on south bound I-35 at Exit 41 in Owatonna. A pickup truck being used to tow an arrow board sign trailer was being used as a traffic attenuator and was parked approximately one vehicle length behind the bucket truck parked on the paved shoulder as it was being used to access the sign catwalk platform.
