Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: The employer failed to inspect and provide training for the automotive lifts located in the shop area: a.4 - Western Manufacturing Company Automotive Lifts, model XLA, capacity 8000 pounds. b.3 - Rotary Automotive Lifts, model OL4P-5, capacity 10,500 pounds. Reference:ANSI/ALI ALOIM-1994, section 4.2.1- Operator Training and section, 5.1- Qualified Inspection Procedure. One feasible and acceptable abatement, among others, is to use an employee who is knowledgeable on the operation of the lifts to train the other employees. This designated employee could also set up and maintain a scheduled inspection of the lifts.tion
