Nevada Revised Statute 618.375(2): The employer did not ensure use of safety devices to render such employment and places of employment safe: The employer failed to ensure that employees working in the pit area of the Slugger Stadium were provided with adequate protection from falling objects: a.In Slugger's Stadium, at the ball retrieval pit area, the location beneath the pitching machines was approximately 30 feet wide and approximately 193 feet long. Overhead protective netting was provided for only 6 of the 30 feet in width where employees were required to work. One feasible and acceptable abatement, among others, is to extend the barrier over the area the employees are required to work in.
