Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a)Shop: An employee who was working on a light fixture was lifted on a plywood platform attached to the forks of a TCM Powered Industrial truck, was not protected from falling, on or about January 31, 2001. Abatement Note: One feasible and acceptable method of abatement, among others, is to provide a "safety platform" used in accordance with ANSI B56.1 - 1975, Part III - Section, or equivalent protection.
