vision panel into the hoistway and open the elevator hoistway door without
the
elevator car being at the landing, on or about 01/19/01.
ABATEMENT NOTE:  Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable
abatement method
to correct this hazard is to repair the vision panel in the freight
elevator hoistway door as
described in ANSI / ASME A17.1-1993 : Safety Code for Elevators and
Escalators, Part XII,
Section 1200, Rule 1201.10 and Rule 110.7a.
