Labor & Employment Article 5-104(a): Annotated Code of Maryland: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:10/10/00 Condition:Only one pint of eyewash was provided where employees use hydroflouric acid and other chemicals. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to provide eyewash in a quantity that will allow for fifteen minutes of continuous fishing.
