Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Date of Violation:02/15/01 Location:Drying Section Equipment:Yale Fork Lift #6, Model #GLP040ENUAE085, Serial #N526011 and Platform Condition:Employee was working from an unsecured platform raised on the forks of the forklift. Among others, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard would is to secure the platform to the mast or forks. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
