IC 22-8-1.1 Section 2: THE EMPLOYER DID NOT FURNISH EMPLOYMENT AND A PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT WHICH WERE FREE FROM RECOGNIZED HAZARDS THAT WERE CAUSING OR LIKELY TO CAUSE DEATH OR SERIOUS PHYSICAL HARM TO EMPLOYEES IN THAT EMPLOYEES WERE EXPOSED TO: North side of storage tank at the northwest area of the site - On or about 9-13-01 employee was exposed to the hot riser pipe(s) between the top of the pipe rack and the storage tank. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to adequately insulate the pipe(s).
