Title 40.1-51.1(a), Code of Virginia: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: At this job site, employees were exposed to crushing hazards when they were allowed to work underneath the suspended load on the International boom/forklift Sheetrock truck, Virginia license plate number 14-500, while lifting a load of 1/2 inch by 4 feet by 12 feet Sheetrock off of the truck bed. An employee was seriously injured when the load shifted and fell on him. "ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD, AMONG OTHERS TO CORRECT THE HAZARD IS TO PROVIDE A WRITTEN TRAINING PROGRAM FOR SHEETROCK TRUCK DRIVERS AND TRAIN DRIVERS IN THE PROGRAM".
