Title 40.1-51.1.(a), Code of Virginia: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: (a) At the south side of the office trailer, one metal form pin, being used as a dead man to hold a wall brace and protruding 12 inches above the 2 x 6 in. lumber, had not been guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement. "ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD, AMONG OTHERS, TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO INSTALL A PLASTIC REBAR CAP OR EQUIVALENT PROTECTION ON THE PROTRUDING FORM PIN".
