Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were working in a self propelled extensible boom aerial lift and were not utilizing an appropriate fall arrest system. Euclid Beverage jobsite - Employees were working in an aerial lift without fall protection. Among feasible means of abatement would be to comply with the American National Standards Institute, ANSI A92.5-1992 Standard for Boom-supported Elevating Work Platforms and, 1.Have the employees wear fall arrest anytime that they are in the aerial lift. NO CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM.
