Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were working in a self propelled extendible boom aerial lift and were not utilizing an appropriate fall arrest system. Heron Point jobsite - Employee working in an extendible boom aerial lift without utilizing fall protection. Among feasible means of abatement would be to comply with American National Standards Institute, ANSI A 92.5-1992 Standard for Boom-Supported Elevating Platforms. NO CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM
