Section 5a1 of the Occupational safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that employees were being elevated by a rough terrain forklift and were not protected from falling approximately 13 feet above the ground. Among other means and one feasible means of abatement would be to ensure that employees wear appropriate fall protection as required by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASME B56.6-1992 Safety Standard for Rough Terrain Forklifts, Section 5.15 requirements for elevating personnel. NO DOCUMENTATION OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM
