(a) Fox 53 television station jobsite:  Employees were being hoisted to
heights of approximately 660
feet above ground level while attached directly to the hook of the DP base
mounted drum hoist
attached to a trailer.  In addition, no inspection records were available
for the DP base mounted drum
hoist.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to abate this
hazard is to perform frequent
and periodic inspections of the hoist and to utilize a personnel platform.
