Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to tripping and fall hazards: JOBSITE: On or about May 4, 2001, perimeter walkways on the top of the wall and at approximately 10 feet down were not free of obstructions in that anchor bolts were sticking up approximately 12 inches in the center of the walkways and utilities were crossing the walkways, respectively, presenting tripping and falling hazards. Means of correction include alternate routes, relocate utilities and building a platform to cover the bolts provided guardrails are raised the height of the platform.s
