Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazards associated with being under a crane's load: An employee operating a dozer was under the clamshell bucket of the Manitowoc Crane, Serial # 46274. 37 Marginal St. Chelsea, Ma.: One method of abatement is to retrain employees on the rule forbidding employees from going under the load of a crane. A consensus standard is 29 CFR 1926. 550 (a) ( 19).
