North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a)jobsite, propane container moved/lifted by a SkyTrak rough terrain forklift was not secured or supported, which contributed to an accident/fire on February 01, 2001. NOTE:Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to abate this hazard is to secure and support containers while lifting in accordance with NFPA 58 Chapter 6.
