29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a)Date of Violation:On or about 02/14/01 Location:Dip Tank Area Condition:An eyewash facility capable of providing 15 minutes of continuous flushing was not provided in the immediate area where employees were exposed to Sodium Hydroxide, Chromic Acid, Nitric Acid, and Phosphoric Acid. Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this item.
