Condition:Employees potentially exposed to chlorine and sulfur dioxide
were
not
provided an adequate eyewash facility as the faucet mounted eyewash
unit did not have sufficient pressure to reach the eyes.
Among others, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this
hazard is to
install an emergency eyewash facility at each location capable of
providing at least 15
minutes of continuous flushing.
Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs,
training
certification, etc.) is required for this item.
