employees, in that employees were exposed to the hazard of falling from a
personnel platform
attached to the forks of a rough terrain forklift truck:
(a)Forrest County Multi-Purpose Center - An employee was observed working
on
the edge of a roof while standing on the midrail of the guardrail on a
personnel platform
elevated 16 feet  above the ground by a rough terrain forklift truck.
Among others, one feasible and useful abatement method to correct this
hazard is to:
Comply with the requirements of ANSI/ASME B56.6 which states; Personnel
are to
maintain firm footing on the platform floor.... Use of railings,
planks.....etc., to achieve
additional height is prohibited.
