American National Standard for Metal Cutting Saws, ANSI B11.10-1990,

5.2.3.4, that in the event of an interruption in the electrical supply,
would prevent
the saw from restarting automatically when power is restored.
(b) equipped with an unprotected, toggle-type, motor starter switch
instead of a
starter located, designed, constructed, interlocked, or guarded to protect
against
unintended operation, as prescribed by the American National Standard for
Metal
Cutting Saws, ANSI B11.10-1990, Section 5.2.3.1.
(c) not equipped with a disconnecting means where the operating handle was
capable of being locked in the open (off) position, as prescribed by the
American
National Standard for Metal Cutting Saws, ANSI B11.10-1990, Section 5.6.
