Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not furnish
employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized
hazards that were
causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that
employees were exposed
to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no proveyo
empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que puedan causar
muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban
expuestos a:
a)Poor lighting that did not contribute to provide efficient and
comfortable seeing as
an aid to office operations and to help provide a safe working
environment. This
occur in the area of medical record of the establishment.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct
this hazard is to provide more illumination.
a)Pobre iluminacion que no contribuye para proveer ver en forma eficiente
y comodo
como una ayuda a las operaciones de la oficina y ayuda a proveer un
ambiente de
trabajo seguro. Esto ocurre en el area de record medico del
establecimiento.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo razonable y aceptable de corregir este
riesgo es
proveer mas iluminacion."to.

a)At the establishment the air handler unit of the air conditioned of the
medical
record area was inhabited by a plague of pigeons.
Hazard:  pigeon droppings are related to the growth of certain fungi wich
can
cause respiratory diseases.
a)En el establecimiento la manejadora de aire del acondicionador de aire
de record
medicos estaba poblada por una plaga de palomas.
Riesgo: los excrementos de paloma estan relacionados con el crecimiento de
ciertos hongos los cuales pueden causar enfermedades respiratorias."
