Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)compression and entrapment of the nerves that run through the shoulders, fatigue to the muscles of the arms and shoulders when they were required to work with computer terminals mounted over counters (43 3/4 inches high), in a too high position (50 inches high), requiring employees to maintain their elbows and shoulders raised to perform their tasks. Collectors counter, Moca Tax office. "AMONG OTHER METHODS, ONE FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE ABATEMENT METHOD TO CORRECT THIS HAZARD IS TO RE- DESIGN THE WORK STATIONS SO THAT THE TASKS REQUIREMENTS PERMIT THE EMPLOYEES TO KEEP THE ARMS AND SHOULDERS LOW AND THE ELBOWS DOWN" a)compresion y pilladura de nervios que pasan por los hombros,fatiga de los musculos de las manos y hombros, al requerirseles trabajar con terminales de computadora montados sobre mostradores (43 3/4 pulgadas de alto), en una posicion muy elevada (50 pulgadas de alto), requiriendo a los empleados mantener sus codos y hombros elevados para poder realizar sus tareas: mostrador de Colectores, Colecturia de Moca. "ENTRE OTROS M(TODOS, UN M(TODO DE CORRECCI:N FACTIBLE Y ACEPTABLE PARA CORREGIR ESTE RIESGO ES REDISENAR LAS ESTACIONES DE TRABAJO DE FORMA TAL QUE LAS TAREAS ASIGNADAS PERMITAN A LOS EMPLEADOS MANTENER LAS MANOS Y HOMBROS BAJOS Y LOS CODOS ABAJO"
