a) The hazards of a propane fire and the potential for a propane explosion
while working on
the charged Bobtail LP-Gas Delivery Truck #9392 that was parked inside the
maintenance
shop within the vicinity of a propane space heater and other various
ignition sources.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard
would be to follow procedures and policies set forth by NFPA 58 Chapter
6.6.2.3: No
containers shall be located near a source of heat or within the direct
path of hot air blown
from a blower or from a blower type heater.
