Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: ***Certifcation of Abatement NOT Required*** (a)an unsecured carbon dioxide compressed gas cylinder located on the west side of the drive-thru bays at job site 5133 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, TX. The carbon dioxide compressed gas cyllinder was used to clean underground utility lines. Among others, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to support or secure the cylinder by using a cylinder truck, chain or steadying device to keep cylinder from being knocked over while in storage or use. Handling, storage, and utilization of all compress gas cylinders, shall be in accordance with the Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965.
