equipped with a magnetic restarter or similar device, as prescribed by the
American National
Standard for Metal Cutting Saws, ANSI B11.10 - 1990, Section 5.2.3.4, that
in the event of an
interruption in the electrical supply, would prevent the saw from
restarting automatically when
power is restored.
(b) Horizontal Band Saw Area, South Wall - the Wholesale horizontal band
saw was equipped
with an unprotected, toggle type motor starter switch instead of a starter
located, designed,
constructed, interlocked or guarded to protect against unintended
operation,
as prescribed by the
American National ANSI Standard for Metal Cutting Saws, ANSI B11.10 -
1990, Section
5.2.3.1.
Abatement certification only is required for this item in accordance with
the requirements
of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
