Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fall due to not wearing a fall arrest system. a) Bethany Church Rd and SR 78,Snellville, GA - Face of a Kroger Foodstore: While spreading stucco material on the facia of a building from an aerial lift employer and employee were without any fall protection. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to provide and require the use of a personal fall arrest system while doing work in an aerial lift. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREDATION
