North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a)facility; throughout such as dry chop packing area - monorail systems and jib cranes have not been load tested. REFERENCE: ANSI B30.11-1998; 11-2.2.2 Load Test (a) New, reinstalled, altered, repaired and modified equipment should be load tested... NOTE: One acceptable and feasible means of abatement is to have the monorail systems and jib cranes load tested.

REFERENCE: ANSI B30.20-1985; 20-1.4.2 Rated Load Test (a) Prior to initial use, all new, altered, modified, or repaired lifting devices should be tested... NOTE: One acceptable and feasible means of abatement is to have the below the hook lifting devices load tested.
